Wallride

A wallride is an obstacle with an extreme steep bank or vertical wall. Cities are packed with them and it's getting more common nowadays to find wallrides as an actual obstacle in modern skatepark design. It's pretty normal to find a wallride in indoor park where it's easily incorporated in the infrastructures.

Nobody is exactly sure who invented the wallride, but it's believed to been done for the first times in the mid 1970s. Later on in 1979 Rodney Mullen invented the backside wallride. Brad Edwards and Aaron currently have the guiness book record for the highest wallride on a skateboard with 7 feet and 6 inches (2,3 meters).
