Alaïa Chalet skatepark Alaïa Chalet, located near Crans-Montana, Switzerland, is the country's largest indoor and outdoor action sports center, spanning over 5,000 square meters. Opened in 2019, it was designed and built by California Skateparks, a leader in skatepark design, and offers a wide range of facilities for skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX, and freeskiing.
The skatepark features both indoor and outdoor areas, including a modern street plaza, a 3-level concrete bowl, a snake run, and a Big Air ramp with a soft landing into an airbag. These elements cater to athletes of all skill levels and disciplines. The indoor section of the park is especially known for its versatility, providing a mix of street and transition obstacles.
The park was designed with input from skaters to ensure an authentic and progressive environment for training and recreation. Alaïa Chalet’s development represents a significant investment in Switzerland’s action sports infrastructure. The project aims to serve both the local community and international athletes, offering world-class training grounds in a stunning alpine setting.
Beyond the skatepark, Alaïa Chalet also includes facilities like trampolines, foam pits, and a co-working space, making it a hub for action sports enthusiasts year-round. The park’s funding is tied to its goal of attracting not only athletes but also tourists, positioning it as a prime destination in the Crans-Montana region.
Since its opening, the park has hosted various events, including competitions and workshops, further establishing its reputation in the global action sports community.
