Allermöhe Skatepark, often referred to as "Allerfornia," is a well-known skate destination located in the eastern part of Hamburg, Germany. The skatepark is a two-part facility, each with its distinct features. The original section has a more traditional design with transition elements, while the newer side, completed in 2018, focuses on street-style skating with modern plaza-like features.
The most recent renovations and expansions were carried out by X-Move GmbH, a company recognized for its involvement in skatepark projects across Germany. The 2018 update introduced various concrete elements, including ledges, manual pads, rails, and technical gaps. The skatepark also includes ramps, hips, and a wallride, adding diversity for different skating styles. These updates not only revitalized the park but enhanced its appeal for events, like the COS Cup, a significant skateboarding competition that highlights the park's challenging and unique layout.
The development of Allermöhe Skatepark included input from the local skate community. This participatory approach ensured that the park met the needs of skaters of all levels, with particular attention to flat concrete areas and technical obstacles for precision tricks. The park spans approximately 900 square meters, making efficient use of its space through a combination of both classic and innovative skate elements. The park's design integrates urban aesthetics with functionality, using anthracite-colored concrete and varied textures to create a visually appealing yet practical space.
