Altura is a small town in the municipality of Castro Marim, on the east side of the Algarve, near the Spanish border, with a population of approximately 2195 people (2011). Located in the Jardim da Avenida 24 de Junho park you will find Altura skatepark, one of the oldest skateparks in Portugal. The skatepark features several ledges, rails and banks.
