The Andy A_Dog Williams Skatepark, located at 1 Lake Street in Burlington, Vermont, is a premier concrete skatepark that officially opened in November 2015. The park was designed by Grindline Skateparks and constructed by Artisan Skateparks, both renowned firms in the skatepark industry. This world-class facility was named in honor of Andy "A_Dog" Williams, a beloved local DJ, skateboarder, and artist who played a pivotal role in Burlington's skateboarding community. Williams was instrumental in the creation of the city's previous temporary skatepark and was deeply involved in the arts and music scene until his passing in 2013. The realization of this skatepark was a community effort, with significant contributions from the Burlington Skatepark Coalition and support from organizations such as the Tony Hawk Foundation, Burton Snowboards, and Fuse Marketing. These collaborations, along with funding from various grants and the city's Penny for Parks program, were crucial in bringing the project to fruition.
