The Skatepark of Baltimore, situated at 1201 W 36th St. in the Hampden neighborhood, is a premier 16,000-square-foot concrete skatepark that caters to skateboarders, BMX riders, and inline skaters of all skill levels.
Phase I (2014): This initial phase introduced a 5,000-square-foot concrete bowl and surrounding banks, providing a dedicated space for skaters seeking transition-style terrain. Phase II (2016): The expansion focused on adding an 11,000-square-foot street plaza adjacent to the existing bowl. This section features stairs, handrails, ledges, and other street-style elements, enhancing the park's versatility. The design and construction of this phase were undertaken by Artisan Skateparks, a North Carolina-based firm renowned for their expertise in skatepark development.
