The Bracken Ridge Skate Plaza, located in Brisbane, Queensland, is a large and well-known facility designed by Convic, a leading company in skatepark design. Covering over 1,000 square meters, the skatepark is designed to cater to all skill levels, with features for both beginner and advanced skaters. Key elements include granite ledges, wallie blocks, kicker ramps, and several street-style features such as grind rails and ledges.
The park was designed to withstand Brisbane's hot climate, with shaded areas featuring trees and artificial grass, allowing skaters to comfortably enjoy the facility throughout the year. The design also includes seating and viewing areas for spectators. The Bracken Ridge Skate Plaza was built as part of a larger recreational development, which also includes a BMX track and the nearby Emily Seebohm Aquatic Centre, making it a major community hub.
Opened around 2016, the project received funding from Brisbane City Council, supporting the area's aim to provide top-tier recreational facilities for the community.
