Cantelowes Skatepark, located in Cantelowes Gardens off Camden Road in London, is renowned as one of the UK's premier outdoor skateparks. The park underwent a significant renovation in 2007 by Wheelscape, resulting in a comprehensive concrete facility that caters to both street and transition skaters. The expansive bowl comprises three interconnected sections with varying depths of 5, 6.5, and 8 feet. It includes unique elements such as hips, roll-ins, a love seat, a 9-foot over-vert cradle, a vert extension, and a banked extension, offering a diverse riding experience for skaters and BMX riders. Encircling the bowl in an L-shape, the street area features flat banks, a large banked hip, a small driveway with a euro gap, grind blocks, and a steep bank suitable for grinds and slides. While some ledges have experienced wear over time, the street section remains a versatile space for various tricks.
The skatepark is accessible via several transport options: Camden Town Station: Approximately 0.7 miles away; exit onto Camden Road and proceed northeast until reaching the park on the left. Camden Road Station: Approximately 0.5 miles away; exit onto Camden Road and head northeast to find the skatepark on the left. Sandall Road Bus Stop: Served by bus routes 29, 253, N29, N253, and N279; the skatepark is visible upon alighting.
