ABOUT SKATEPARK

Carbondale skatepark

Carbondale Skatepark, located in Carbondale, Colorado, was originally designed and built by Grindline Skateparks in 2003. The park spans 17,300 square feet and includes a large snake-run bowl with varying depths and 26 hips, along with street course features around the decks. Notably, it houses Colorado’s first 18-foot full pipe with a capsule end, making it a standout destination for skateboarders in the region.

In 2011, the park underwent a significant expansion funded by a Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) grant. Evergreen Skateparks constructed the new beginner section, which added 4,000 square feet of space designed for younger and less experienced skaters to practice before tackling the more advanced areas of the park.
