Clawson Skatepark, located in Clawson City Park, Michigan, was built in 2015 by Evergreen Skateparks, a renowned skatepark design and construction team from Portland, Oregon. The park spans 6,000 square feet and includes a variety of skate elements like a large open bowl, quarter pipes, stairs, ledges, and rails, making it suitable for skaters of all skill levels. The skatepark was the result of a community-driven effort, with local residents and organizations raising funds and working alongside the city to get the park built.
The project was initiated by the Clawson Skate Park Committee, which included local parents and skateboard enthusiasts, aiming to create a safe and accessible space for skaters in the area. The park is free to use and is open daily from 7 AM to 11 PM, making it a popular destination for skateboarders in the Detroit metro area.
