ABOUT SKATEPARK

Claypole skatepark

The Claypole Skatepark, also known as the Almirante Brown Skatepark, is a vital social and athletic hub located in the southern suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires. Situated strategically in the lands surrounding the Claypole Train Station(near the intersection of Remedios de Escalada de San Martín and Av. 17 de Octubre), it was the first official skatepark built in the Almirante Brown district.

The Claypole Skatepark is much more than just a concrete slab; it is the center of a thriving community movement. Built as part of a municipal initiative to reclaim public space near the railway, the park has become a "school of the streets," famously hosting the Escuela de Skate de Claypole, which offers free lessons to local youth. Its location right next to the train tracks gives it a classic "conurbano" feel—bustling, accessible, and full of local flavor.

Extremely easy to reach via the Roca Train Line (Claypole Station), making it a popular destination for skaters from across the southern zone.
