In 2022, the skatepark underwent significant renovations to modernize its features and enhance the user experience. The renovation project was part of the city's broader initiative to improve recreational facilities, with the updated skatepark reopening to the public in December 2022. The revamped park now boasts a full concrete structure, including a spacious street area and a bowl, providing a versatile environment for various skateboarding styles.
