ABOUT SKATEPARK

Collie skatepark

The Collie Skatepark, located in the Collie River Precinct in Western Australia, was designed and built by Convic, a leading company in skatepark development. It opened in April 2014, coinciding with National Youth Week celebrations. The park covers approximately 730 square meters and features a variety of skate elements, including a tight bowl, transition elements, and technical street features such as a kicker gap over a dry creek bed. The park was designed in collaboration with the local youth community, ensuring it meets the needs of skaters, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts of all skill levels.

This skatepark is a central social and recreational hub, integrated beautifully with the surrounding landscape. It includes additional facilities like seating, water fountains, free Wi-Fi, lighting for nighttime use, and nearby public amenities, making it an ideal spot for competitions and community events.
