Stadium Drive, Nashua, New Hampshire 03062, United States of America
The David W. Deane Skatepark in Nashua, New Hampshire, is a 20,000-square-foot facility located at 52 Stadium Drive. It was completed in 2017, replacing the original skatepark on Bridge Street. This project, led by the Nashua Parks and Recreation Department, was designed by Pillar Design Studios and built by Artisan Skateparks, two prominent companies in the skatepark industry known for creating high-quality concrete parks. The skatepark was developed with city funding, supported by additional grants, and was named in honor of former alderman David Deane, who championed local skateboarding initiatives.
The park’s design features three main sections: an egg-shaped bowl, a unique "Mickey Mouse" bowl with three pockets, and a large flow bowl that includes various obstacles such as hips, banks, pump bumps, and a vertical wall. These elements cater to skaters of all levels, offering a balance between street and transition skating. The park operates with free admission and is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., making it a popular destination for skaters from both Nashua and the larger Boston metropolitan area.
Since its opening, the David W. Deane Skatepark has become an essential part of Nashua’s community recreation offerings, contributing to the city's appeal as a hub for outdoor activities. The facility also hosts skateboarding events and provides an ideal setting for youth programs and skating lessons. The addition of lights for evening use has further enhanced its accessibility, making it a vibrant spot for local and visiting skaters alike.
