ABOUT SKATEPARK

Frankston skatepark

Frankston Skatepark, located at Samuel Sherlock Reserve in Frankston, Victoria, is considered one of the best skateparks in Australia. It was designed and built by Convic and officially opened in 2006. The park spans 3,400 square meters and caters to skaters, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts of all levels.

The park features a wide range of elements, including a large street plaza with ledges, kink rails, banks, and manual pads. It also boasts a mini capsule bowl and a kidney-shaped bowl, with depths ranging from 7 to 11 feet, equipped with pool coping. The park's impressive design and variety of obstacles make it a popular destination for both local and visiting skaters.

Frankston Skatepark is part of a broader effort by the Frankston City Council to provide high-quality recreational facilities. It is well-maintained and hosts regular events, skate lessons, and competitions, contributing to its reputation as a key community hub.
