Genk Sportcentrum Skatepark

The Genk Sportcentrum Skatepark, located in SportinGenk Park, is a well-known destination for skaters in Genk, Belgium. The project was designed with input from Artgineering, in collaboration with other partners like textoer and ARA, as part of a master plan for the entire SportinGenk Park, which also includes other sports facilities and green spaces.

The skatepark was funded by the City of Genk, with a focus on creating a multifunctional sports area that could serve the local community. The overall sports park, including the skatepark, is part of a larger effort to integrate sports, recreation, and natural landscapes. Since its opening, the skatepark has become a popular spot for local skaters, and its facilities are well-maintained. The park is also illuminated until 10:30 PM, allowing skaters to enjoy it even after dark.
