ABOUT SKATEPARK

Havre skatepark

The Havre Skatepark in Montana was initially built in 2003 with funding from The Skatepark Project (formerly the Tony Hawk Foundation) and designed by Evergreen Skateparks. Over the years, it has become a vital community hub for skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter enthusiasts. The skatepark features various elements like a bowl, quarterpipes, manual pads, ledges, handrails, and stairs, providing a versatile environment for skaters of all levels.

In 2015, Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, a Montana native, donated $50,000 to help upgrade the park. Further improvements funded by Ament, alongside work done by Evergreen Skateparks, were completed in 2019. These additions included new obstacles, a remodeled pocket, and a mound in the center of the park, enhancing the park's appeal and functionality.

The skatepark's upgrades are part of Ament’s broader mission to bring high-quality skateparks to rural and underserved areas across Montana.
