The Hays Skatepark, located on the Fort Belknap Reservation in Hays, Montana, was built by Evergreen Skateparks in 2016. This compact park covers 3,300 square feet and was funded primarily through the Montana Pool Service, spearheaded by Pearl Jam’s bassist, Jeff Ament, who has been instrumental in supporting skatepark projects across Montana. The Montana Skatepark Association (MSA) also played a role in supporting the project.
Designed to serve the local youth and skating community, the park offers a range of features that cater to different skill levels, making it a great resource for the reservation and surrounding areas. This skatepark is part of a broader effort by Ament and the MSA to bring high-quality recreational facilities to underserved communities across Montana.
