ABOUT SKATEPARK

Junction City skatepark

Junction City Skatepark, located in Junction City, Oregon, is an 8,000-square-foot outdoor concrete facility that officially opened in 2012. The skatepark was designed and constructed by SpohnRanch, a well-known company specializing in skatepark development. Situated in Laurel Park, this skatepark includes a mix of street and transition elements, with features such as quarter pipes, banks, ledges, stairs, and a mini-ramp. The park’s layout follows a distinctive figure-eight shape, providing a continuous flow for skaters to move seamlessly between obstacles.

The park’s construction was part of a broader initiative to create community-oriented recreational spaces in Junction City. The park's unique layout allows skaters of all ages and skill levels to practice, whether they're beginners learning the basics or advanced skaters looking to execute more technical maneuvers.

Junction City Skatepark is a popular destination for local and visiting skaters, offering a free, public space to enjoy from sunrise to sunset. The park does not feature lighting, which limits skateboarding to daylight hours.
