Duinenwater 41, 8300 Knokke-Heist, Belgium.
The Knokke-Heist Duinenwater skatepark, located at Duinenwater 41, Knokke-Heist, Belgium, is a modern concrete skatepark designed and built by Concrete Skateparks Belgium. Officially opened on September 21, 2018, the park is part of the larger Duinenwater recreational area. The skatepark was funded and developed by the City of Knokke-Heist, with strong support from local authorities. During its inauguration, the event was celebrated with performances by street bands and DJs, showcasing its importance as a community hub for local youth and skaters.
The park features a diverse range of obstacles catering to various skating styles. It includes elements like quarterpipes, a manual pad, handrails, ledges, stairs, and a wallride, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced skaters. Additionally, its open bowl section provides opportunities for flow and transition skating.
The location near the popular Duinenwater recreational site, which includes lakes and other leisure facilities, enhances the park’s appeal, attracting visitors beyond just the skating community. The skatepark was designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, integrating seamlessly into the surrounding green areas and urban landscape.
This skatepark was part of a broader initiative by Knokke-Heist to enhance recreational spaces, making it a key destination for locals and tourists alike. Since its opening, the park has become a vibrant spot for skaters and a central point for community events.
