98 W Pine Street, Long Beach, New York 11561, United States of America
The Long Beach Skatepark in Long Beach, New York, was designed and built by SpohnRanch Skateparks and opened in 2015. The park, located at 98 West Pine Street, is a 7,000-square-foot concrete facility featuring a range of elements for skaters of all skill levels. The park includes a large bowl, a quarterpipe, a London gap, handrails, ledges, stairs, and flat rails, offering a mix of street and transition terrain.
This skatepark was constructed as part of a community-driven project to replace the previous setup of metal ramps and asphalt with a more modern, durable concrete structure. Local skaters were consulted during the design process, ensuring the park met the needs of the community. It was designed to provide a creative and challenging space, particularly with the two bowl sections and the central street plaza featuring stairs, banks, and ledges.
The project was part of broader improvements in the area and has since become a popular destination, especially with its scenic location near the Atlantic Ocean. The park operates from 7 AM to 10 PM and is free for public use, with no fencing, making it accessible to skaters and inline skaters throughout the day. The facility also has lighting, allowing for night sessions.
