Manjimup skatepark was designed and built by Convic skateparks and has lights. The Manjimup Skatepark is a well-regarded facility located in the heart of Manjimup, Western Australia. It opened in 2018 and has received praise for its design, which caters to both beginner and advanced riders. The park features a flow bowl, street elements, ledges, and rails, providing a versatile environment for skaters and BMX riders.
The skatepark was designed with input from the local youth community, helping shape the final layout and ensuring it met the needs of local riders. It was built to be a central community hub, fostering engagement through events like Demo Day Jams, where local and regional riders showcase their skills. The skatepark has been a significant addition to the Manjimup Youth Precinct, which also includes other recreational amenities.
The development was supported by local government efforts and community fundraising, with local skaters and residents playing an active role in ensuring the park became a vibrant part of the town.
