Morton Park skatepark

Morton Park Skatepark is part of the Morton Road Sports and Community Hub located in Christie Downs, South Australia. The skatepark is being designed and constructed by the renowned skatepark builders CONVIC, known for their world-class designs. This project is part of a larger $3.3 million development aimed at creating a family-friendly recreational area. The hub includes various sports facilities such as tennis courts, playgrounds, and barbecue areas, with the skatepark being one of the key features.

The funding for this community hub comes from several sources, including contributions from the City of Onkaparinga and state government, with additional support from the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation. The skatepark was designed with extensive community input to ensure it meets local needs. It is expected to open in stages, with completion targeted for late 2021.
