Located at Calle 143 Bis entre 46 y 48, this park is a milestone for Necochea’s urban sports scene. Unlike traditional municipal projects, this "Skate Plaza" was born as a grassroots initiative led by the Asociación de Skate de Necochea y Quequén. Built with the sweat and funding of the skaters themselves (in collaboration with the local neighbors' association), it was designed to expand upon the pre-existing Bowl de la Villa, creating a high-performance space away from the city's central hubbub.
The heart of the facility is its custom-built concrete bowl. It was constructed with direct input from local legends to ensure professional-grade transitions and coping, making it one of the most respected bowls on the Atlantic coast. The project featured technical guidance from renowned skate architect Martín Pibotto, ensuring that while the construction was DIY, the geometry and safety standards are top-tier.
