The Nepal Skatepark, located in Alcobendas, Madrid, is one of Spain's most historic skateparks, with its origins dating back over 30 years. Locally known as "Nepal" due to its extreme cold in winter and views of the Madrid mountains, the skatepark has undergone significant renovations to preserve its unique character.
The skatepark's unique design includes two deep bowls connected by channels to a shallower bowl and a smaller bowl known as "la judía." Its radical curves and robust coping contribute to its distinct identity. Renovations led by architect Daniel Yábar focused on preserving these features, recreating the original curves, and replacing the coping to maintain the park's character.
Nepal Skatepark is situated within the municipal sports complex of Valdelafuentes, at Calle de Manuel de Falla, 42, 28100 Alcobendas, Madrid. The park is suitable for all skill levels and offers easy access and parking facilities.
