The Nesselande Skatepark, located on Sicilieboulevard in Rotterdam, was built in 2014 by SkateOn Skateparks, a well-known company specializing in concrete skatepark construction. The park features a variety of obstacles that cater to both street and transition skaters. Notable features include an open bowl connected to a street section, along with hubbas, quarterpipes, a jump box, a funbox, a mini-ramp, kickers, and handrails. These elements make it an attractive destination for skaters of all levels, offering opportunities for both technical street skating and smooth flow in the bowl.
The skatepark is part of a broader initiative by the municipality of Rotterdam to enhance public recreational spaces, making it accessible to the local community and skateboarding enthusiasts. The use of durable concrete ensures longevity, and no major renovations have been reported since its initial build.
Nesselande’s location near the beach adds to its appeal, creating a unique environment where skaters can enjoy both the sport and the surrounding natural beauty.
