The O Castro Skatepark, located in Vigo, Spain, is a popular urban sports space within the Monte do Castro Park. It was renovated and reopened in May 2019 after a substantial improvement project costing €36,500. The renovation included the transformation of its 760 square meters into a more dynamic space for skaters of different levels. The updated skatepark features several elements such as inclined planes, fun boxes, quarter pipes, and handrails, providing a varied experience for skaters.
This skatepark has become a significant venue for local skaters, as it offers both street and park elements, making it versatile for a variety of tricks and styles. The park was originally part of the local efforts to promote urban sports in the city, with multiple skateparks across Vigo contributing to this initiative.
