Peak Park Skatepark in Buena Park, California, is an 8,000-square-foot outdoor concrete skatepark. It underwent a significant renovation in 2014, led by SpohnRanch, a renowned skatepark design and construction company. This renovation transformed the older park, which originally featured wood and metal ramps, into a modern concrete facility. The upgrades were commissioned by the City of Buena Park to replace outdated materials with more durable, contemporary concrete features.
The park's layout includes various street-oriented obstacles such as a quarterpipe, manual pad, fun box, banks, hubbas, handrails, and ledges. These elements cater to skaters of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders. The quarterpipe, in particular, is a standout feature, divided into three distinct sections that provide varied heights for different trick opportunities. Peak Park Skatepark is part of the larger William Peak Park, which hosts multiple recreational amenities for the local community.
The skatepark operates daily from 8 AM until sunset and emphasizes safety, requiring helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads for all users. It is designed to be a free, public space, reinforcing the community’s commitment to accessible recreational areas.
