Sea Isle City Skatepark, located at Dealy Field in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, was built in 2013 by SpohnRanch Skateparks. Prior to this, the skatepark was a simple setup of plywood ramps and rough asphalt. The city recognized the need for a more modern, durable facility and commissioned Spohn Ranch to overhaul the park. The new design uses recycled asphalt from the original park as the foundation for a 6,000-square-foot concrete surface, creating a smooth and well-balanced skate plaza.
The park features a variety of street-style obstacles, including quarterpipes, kickers, hubbas, flat rails, stairs, a manual pad, and a mini-ramp. These elements cater to both beginner and intermediate skaters. Notably, the park is enclosed by a fence, which along with the compact footprint, guided the design team to focus more on street skating rather than bowl or transition elements.
This renovation was a significant upgrade from the old setup and has become a popular spot for local skaters. The park is open from sunrise to 10 PM and is free to use. However, it is limited to skateboarders only—bicycles and inline skates are not permitted—and safety gear, including helmets and pads, is mandatory.
Overall, the revamped Sea Isle City Skatepark now offers a safer, more enjoyable space for skateboarding, making it a key part of the local recreational offerings at Dealy Field.
