ABOUT SKATEPARK

Silverthorne skatepark

The Silverthorne Skatepark, located at 590 Rainbow Drive in Silverthorne, Colorado, is a well-loved cement skatepark situated within Rainbow Park. Built by Team Pain, it offers around 20,000 square feet of skating surface, featuring a range of obstacles, including a large bowl with smooth transitions, quarter-pipes, a pyramid box, rails, ledges, and other street-style elements. The park’s unique layout and bright red accents make it a recognizable spot for both local and visiting skaters.

The park is designed to accommodate skaters of all skill levels, with a flow that is particularly appealing for longboarding and traditional street skating. It is free and open to the public year-round, though the best time to visit is during the warmer months. The skatepark is a central part of the community’s recreation, hosting events like local skate competitions and meet-ups.

For those looking to enjoy more than just skating, Rainbow Park also offers basketball and tennis courts, sand volleyball, playgrounds, and picnic areas, making it a great spot for families and groups.
