The Skatepark do Avião, located in Tenente-Coronel Jaime Filipe da Fonseca Park—known locally as Parque do Avião—in Leiria, Portugal, was designed by the Portuguese architect Francisco Lopez. The construction of the skatepark was announced by the Municipality of Leiria in June 2016 to provide a safe, dedicated space for skateboarders, who had been using non-designated areas like the Fonte Luminosa square. The project was developed with input from the local skateboarding community, ensuring the design met the skaters' needs.

The park was built at an investment of over €54,000.Leiria’s skatepark consists of obstacles designed for different difficulty levels, allowing skaters to progress as they practice. Key features include ramps, stairs, quarter-pipes, mini-halfpipes, deltas, rails, and curbs. The variety of obstacles accommodates both beginners and experienced skaters, creating an inclusive environment for all levels.

Since its opening, Skatepark do Avião has hosted numerous events and competitions.
