ABOUT SKATEPARK

St Kilda skatepark

St Kilda Skatepark, located in Marina Reserve, Melbourne, was designed and built by Convic and officially opened in 2013. The skatepark features a range of colored concrete bowls and street-style elements, including bowls varying from 5 to 8 feet in depth, stairs, banks, and rollovers, making it a dynamic facility suitable for all skill levels. The park’s design reflects the coastal environment, with flowing shapes reminiscent of sand dunes, blending with its beachfront location.

The project was funded by the City of Port Phillip, and the park won the 2014 Mayor’s Award for Design and Development. It is a popular spot, particularly on weekends, and offers not only skating but also nearby amenities such as public BBQs, picnic areas, and accessible walking paths.
