Thunder Park skatepark, located on the Blackfeet Reservation in Browning, Montana, was built by Evergreen Skateparks. This park, known for its lunar or moonscape design, was funded entirely by Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam through his Montana Pool Service Foundation. Ament donated a substantial amount, including proceeds from the band's tour, due to the significant need for a recreational outlet in the isolated community.
Completed in 2017, Thunder Park has become a vital space for local youth, providing a world-class concrete skatepark in a rural area. The park is an example of Ament's ongoing mission to support underserved communities by creating spaces where skateboarding can thrive.
