The Tigre Skatepark, officially named the "Facundo Gerónimo Díaz" Municipal Skatepark, is a modern concrete facility located at the scenic intersection of Avenida Liniers and Camino de los Remeros in Rincón de Milberg. Inaugurated in late 2018, it was built to provide a high-quality, free-access space for the growing skate community in the Tigre district, quickly becoming a landmark for "Zona Norte" riders.
This municipal skatepark offers a professional-grade layout in a wide-open, green environment. The park was named in memory of Facundo Gerónimo Díaz, a local skater who was a key advocate for its construction. Its location makes it a perfect stop for those exploring Tigre, offering a breezy, riverside atmosphere that is rare for urban parks. The park is roughly 600 square meters and was designed to be a complete "all-in-one" spot, featuring a mix of transition and street obstacles.
The centerpiece is a solid concrete bowl approximately 8 meters long, featuring a perimeter resting platform. It’s designed with smooth transitions that are accessible for intermediate riders while still offering enough depth for advanced carvers.
It is part of a larger "recreational circuit" that includes aerobic paths, calisthenics equipment, and playgrounds, making it a popular weekend spot for both serious skaters and families. The park is equipped with LED floodlights, ensuring that the session can continue safely well after the sun sets over the Luján River.
