ABOUT SKATEPARK

Tulsa skatepark

Tulsa's Mohawk Skatepark is one of the largest skateparks in Oklahoma, located within the Mohawk Sports Complex at 2910 E 56th St N. This 25,000-square-foot skatepark, built in 2004, was designed by California Skateparks and is owned by the City of Tulsa Parks and Recreation Department. It features a variety of terrain, including a large bowl with depths ranging from 5 to 12 feet, a street course with stairs, rails, and ledges, a snake run, and a mini ramp, catering to skaters of all levels.

The skatepark is free to use and operates from 8 AM to 10 PM daily. Helmets are mandatory, and skaters must sign a liability waiver to use the park. In addition to being a local favorite, the park has hosted various competitions and skateboarding events throughout the years and has been featured as a filming location for skateboarding videos.

In addition to Mohawk Skatepark, Tulsa has recently invested in other parks like McCullough Park, which was revitalized with a new pump track, splash pad, and playground in 2023, further demonstrating the city's commitment to enhancing outdoor recreation spaces.
