Unity Park Skatepark, located in Ivins, Utah, was designed and built by SpohnRanch and opened in November 2019. The park spans 8,000 square feet and is designed to cater to skaters of all skill levels. Its layout includes a variety of features, such as a large, open-ended bowl with waterfalls and hips, as well as a street section equipped with grind rails, manual pads, and stairs. The design integrates colored concrete and an iconic entry sculpture that reflects the local mountain landscape, enhancing the park's aesthetic appeal.
The skatepark was developed as part of a broader project by the city of Ivins to enhance community recreation spaces. It is located within Unity Park, a multi-use facility that spans 12 acres, offering a variety of recreational options including tennis courts, splash pads, and athletic fields. The skatepark has quickly gained popularity, drawing skaters from multiple states due to its thoughtful design and scenic surroundings.
The project was executed through a turnkey design-build process by Spohn Ranch, which handled everything from the initial design to construction, including drainage, earthwork, and the concrete structures.
