Victoria Skatepark in Bath, located in Royal Victoria Park, was extensively upgraded in 2015 at a cost of nearly £500,000. The project was managed by Bath & North East Somerset Council and executed by Canvas Spaces, a Bristol-based design and construction company. The revamp replaced the old metal ramps with a large concrete skatepark, making it one of the most prominent outdoor bowls in the UK.
The park now features a 10-foot-deep squared vert bowl, a shallower 6-foot section, a 2.5-foot mini bowl, and various street elements such as ledges, rails, a funbox, and gaps. The upgrade was part of a broader initiative to improve Royal Victoria Park’s facilities. The redesign was developed with input from local users, including skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter users, ensuring the space would meet the needs of all small-wheeled sports enthusiasts.
