Wadebridge Skatepark, located in Cornwall, was built by Canvas Spaces and officially opened in November 2019. The skatepark replaced an older facility with metal ramps and a tarmac base. The modern concrete park features an open bowl connected to a back-and-forth plaza, making it suitable for skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter users of all skill levels.
The project was long-awaited, with initial campaigns for a skatepark in Wadebridge beginning over 30 years ago. The project gained momentum with a budget of £200,000 and strong community support. The skatepark is a free, outdoor facility that adds to the town’s recreational offerings.
