The skatepark is part of a broader 125-acre campus designed to cater to athletes of all ages and skill levels, offering both indoor and outdoor facilities. The outdoor skate plazas and the 10,000-square-foot indoor skatepark were built by California Skateparks, a top skatepark design and construction company. The design includes street plazas, bowls, and transition features, making it a diverse training ground for both beginners and professional athletes.
Funded and operated by POWDR, a company known for its adventure lifestyle brands, Woodward Park City was designed as an action sports destination that incorporates not only skateboarding but also skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and other sports. The campus includes a 66,000-square-foot indoor action sports hub, which features a combination of concrete and ramp zones for skateboarding and BMX. Additionally, the outdoor skateparks offer a wide range of features, from beginner-friendly elements to more advanced sections like the 22-foot superpipe and big air jumps, used by professional athletes to train for competitions like the X Games.
The park is renowned for its comprehensive facilities and progressive learning environment, offering camps, lessons, and events throughout the year. Since its opening, it has become a popular destination for both local skaters and visiting professionals from across the globe.
