Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

2000 E Clark Road, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48198, United States of America
The Ypsilanti Community Skatepark stands as a pioneering achievement in Michigan’s recreational landscape, merging world-class action sports terrain with visionary environmental stewardship. As the first facility of its kind in the state to integrate a comprehensive green stormwater management system, the park proves that high-performance design and ecological responsibility can go hand in hand. By utilizing bio-filtration swales, vibrant rain gardens, and a construction mix featuring recycled materials and natural fiber concrete, the plaza significantly reduces its environmental footprint while ensuring a durable, sustainable destination that will serve the community for decades.
The park's layout is meticulously crafted to welcome every style of rider, from those just finding their balance to seasoned veterans of the sport. The design features a flowing street section and a dedicated beginner area that transition into a complex, multi-leveled flow bowl, offering a diverse range of challenges. Beyond its functional excellence, the park is a visual landmark; the thoughtful blend of colored materials and natural landscaping creates an aesthetic that is as beautiful as the lines it facilitates.
This landmark project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks, a leader in large-scale concrete skatepark environments, with key design leadership from former professional skateboarder Kanten Russell. The park's completion was made possible through an extraordinary collaboration between Ypsilanti Township, Washtenaw County, and a wide-reaching network of partners including the Skatepark Project (formerly the Tony Hawk Foundation), the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation, and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. By incorporating the voices of local advocates and skaters into every phase of development, the Ypsilanti Community Skatepark serves as a premier example of inclusivity and the power of collective vision.
