The Cochrane Youth Park (often referred to locally as the Zero Gravity Skatepark), located in Cochrane, Alberta, is actually a massive 14,000-square-foot facility. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks. Its completion was a major historical milestone, marking the very first significant concrete skatepark development in Southern Alberta since the opening of Calgary's famous Millennium Park.
Set into a pristine hillside overlooking the town's prized river valley, the park features a versatile plaza section and a modern bowl unit. The layout is celebrated for its unique shape, detailed concrete features, integrated rock work, and informal seating areas. These high-quality design elements have made the Cochrane Youth Park a standout highlight on the Western Canadian skatepark network, remaining a heavily utilized and beloved community hub to this day.
