In July 2024, the town of Audenge, located in the Gironde department of France, inaugurated a state-of-the-art pumptrack and bike park within the Plaine des Sports complex. This facility was developed to cater to enthusiasts of various non-motorized two-wheel sports, including BMX, mountain biking, skateboarding, and scootering.
The pumptrack and bike park encompass six distinct tracks, collectively spanning 486 meters. These tracks are categorized into three levels of difficulty: Green (Beginner): Designed for novices to build confidence and foundational skills. Blue (Intermediate): Tailored for riders with moderate experience seeking to enhance their abilities. Red (Advanced): Challenging courses intended for seasoned riders to test and refine their skills.
The pumptrack and bike park are open to the public free of charge, promoting inclusivity and encouraging community participation. Parking is available at the nearby Stade Jean-Robert Grenier, ensuring convenient access for visitors. The facility also features a designated rest area equipped with benches and waste bins, providing a comfortable space for users to relax between sessions.
