Covina Skatepark, located at 620 North Grand Avenue in Covina, California, is a recently inaugurated facility designed to cater to skateboarders of all skill levels. The park officially opened in late June 2024, following a collaborative design process involving local skaters and the community. The initial concept for the skatepark was developed by employees of Pawnshop Skate Co., a renowned local skate shop. They crafted a clay model reflecting the preferences and needs of the local skateboarding community. This model was then handed over to SpohnRanch, a professional skatepark design company, to finalize the design. Covina Skatepark is situated just over a mile from the Downtown Covina Metrolink Station and the esteemed Pawnshop Skate Co., making it easily accessible for both local and visiting skaters.
