The Big Mine Skatepark in Crested Butte, Colorado, commonly known as Crank's Tank, was originally built in 1997. In 2023, it underwent a significant renovation and expansion, led by Evergreen Skateparks. The $1 million project was supported by local community efforts and funding, including contributions from organizations like the Met Rec. The new design includes diverse features like bowls, street elements, and improved facilities such as permanent restrooms. The park also integrates mental health awareness through partnerships with local groups.
