The Pumptrack in Euskirchen's Auelsburg recreational area was officially inaugurated in early 2024. This modern facility was designed and constructed by RadQuartier GmbH, a company specializing in the development of pump tracks and bike parks.
The pump track features a 570-square-meter asphalt circuit with waves, steep turns, and jumps, catering to various wheeled sports such as biking, skateboarding, inline skating, scooters, and even wheelchairs. The project was initiated with input from local children and adolescents to ensure the facility met their needs and expectations. The total cost of the project was approximately €219,000, with around €98,000 funded by the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia as part of its sports facility promotion program.
