Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Mueller Skatepark and Pump Track, frequently referred to by its local "folk" name, the Gaylord Sackler Memorial Skatepark, is a groundbreaking 15,000-square-foot facility located in Austin, Texas. Situated within the Southeast Greenway as part of the transformative Mueller master-planned community, this park was designed by New Line Skateparks and built by SPA Skateparks in collaboration with RVi Planning and Flynn Construction. Since its opening in 2022, it has become a crown jewel of the Austin skate scene, notably featuring the first concrete pump track ever built in the state of Texas.
The facility is masterfully divided into two primary zones: a technical street-inspired skatepark and a massive, interconnected pump track system. The pump track is designed with multiple lanes and "branches," allowing riders to choose their own lines and flow through the concrete waves, while a smaller "figure-8" track provides a perfect training ground for beginners. The street section offers a sleek, modern array of ledges, stairs, and rails, all finished with the high-quality concrete work for which the New Line and SPA partnership is known.
Beyond the rideable terrain, the park is designed as a comfortable community hub, featuring a massive, artistic shade structure that protects users from the Texas sun, along with integrated lighting for night sessions. While the "Gaylord Sackler" name began as a successful local internet hoax, it has been embraced by the community as a symbol of Austin’s unique, quirky skate culture. Whether you’re a BMX rider, skater, or scooter enthusiast, this facility offers a world-class environment for progression in one of the city's most vibrant new neighborhoods.
