The Goleta Skatepark in Tavernes de la Valldigna, located near the coastal area of La Goleta beach, was developed as part of a broader initiative to improve recreational facilities in the region. According to available information, the skatepark was designed and built as a response to community demand, particularly from local youth, who had been advocating for the construction of such a facility.
The project was funded with the support of a significant grant from the Diputació de València, totaling around €82,000. This funding was crucial in making the skatepark a reality, addressing one of the town's most-requested infrastructure needs. The skatepark is designed to cater to various skill levels, offering a modern concrete structure suitable for skateboards and inline skates.
The park forms part of a larger network of urban improvements in Tavernes de la Valldigna. Alongside other amenities in the northern park area, the skatepark has contributed to revitalizing the local recreation landscape, providing a valuable space for youth to practice their skills and engage in active outdoor activities.
