Greenwood Skatepark is a small park with several basic skateboarding obstacles in a back and forth setup.
This SKATE park was great back 15 years ago, now some chode pidgen on base has his head stuck so far up his @$$, that the park is becoming unsafe to use. There is so many rotting spots and spongy spots in the ramps that parts of topsheet is sticking up. It's sad too because the park is dead for the most part as all the local kids that skate, rather go to kentville now as a result of poorly this park has been maintained. let's be frank, they are also tired of trying to fundraise and do presentations to get them no where's with improving the park. I grew up and learned how to skate on this park, it hurts to see how horrible the park looks now. Now I live in Ontario where it's almost like every town is trying to out do each other with who could build the better concrete park. I know they got more money out there, but with how little there is to do in greenwood aside for redneck crap, if I was a tourist stopping by to skate (it exists), I'd leave back to halifax to get tested for any diseases. Seriously, it's a skatepark, not a multi use park, what everyone calls it. AND if I'm correct, the base was given this park, if I was the original owner, I'd punch the guy out incharge of the center. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF OUR PARK BEFORE ITS NOTHING BUT FRAMES.
