Gibbel Park Skate Park, also known as Hemet Skatepark, is a modern outdoor concrete skatepark located at 2625 West Devonshire Avenue, Hemet, California. The park officially opened in October 2023 and has since become a focal point for the local skateboarding community.
The skatepark boasts a thoughtful layout that caters to riders of all abilities. It includes a vert bowl, flow bowl, and a spacious street plaza that integrates small transition and street features. Designed by Kanten Russell of New Line Skateparks, known for projects like Poods Skatepark in Encinitas, California, the park reflects high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
In December 2024, the skatepark underwent a significant upgrade with the installation of energy-efficient lights, enhancing visibility and extending usable hours for skaters.
