The Langa Pumptrack, located on the border between the Langa and Bridgetown/Bonteheuwel areas in Cape Town, South Africa, is a premier facility designed for various wheeled sports, including cycling, skateboarding, and scootering. Officially opened by the City of Cape Town's Recreation and Parks Department in December 2022, the track spans approximately 1,000 square meters with a circuit length of 161 meters, constructed with asphalt to accommodate riders of all skill levels.
The facility was developed at a cost of R1.7 million and is designed to international standards, capable of hosting global pump track events. The construction incorporated sustainable practices, utilizing recycled milling materials and a French drainage system to ensure durability and environmental responsibility.
